The Perihelion Resilience Service is a standard feature included with all Perihelion Voice server solutions and runs on dedicated servers in a secure data facility in Central London. The Resilience Service provides two valuable features; backup and failover. Each night, Voice Servers on customer premises automatically back up their configurations to the Resilence Service. Should a Voice Server fail for any reason then its configuration settings can simply and quickly be restored to a replacement unit, keeping down time to an absolute minimum. The optional failover feature is also used by many of the phones connected to Voice Servers on customer premises. If the phone has more than one line then the first is set to use the local Voice Server and the second line will use the Resilence Service. If for any reason the Voice Server or normal phone lines fail then simply by selecting the second line calls can still be made. |
