You can choose how to route incoming calls. This can vary on the time of day or whether it is a holiday. Calls can go to a dedicated receptionist first, for example, before being passed to a group of people should the receptionist be busy or unavailable.
Incoming calls can also be routed via a VoIP gateway, allowing, say 10 simultaneous calls down a standard broadand line. This can be a very cost-effective answer for coping with seasonal peaks in demand.
