Perihelion Telecom
... is the trading name of a ten-year-old business called TJJ Ltd. Our normal work is extremely high tech, offering advice to investors such as Venture Capitalists on the technical issues concerning a potential investment. Normally these companies are based in the software or telecommunications area.
Over the past couple of years our work in this area has led us to follow closely the development of an Open Source PBX called Asterisk®. Right from the start we have thought that this was very interesting and a potential disruptive force in the office PBX market. It's this secret gem of technology that we have now decided to make available to other people, but without the high-tech acronyms and very steep learning curve that otherwise accompanies technology such as this.
We use this technology ourselves - we were one of the first users in the UK - and have implemented both small systems (4 people) and medium sized (40 people). The Perihelion Telecom service uses this tried and trusted technology to provide a flexible office communication system at low cost.
